The developers of pr0nView take your privacy very seriously. The app is designed so your media stays on your machine unless you explicitly choose otherwise.
You control network access
The installation can be configured not to access any outside servers. pr0nView always asks permission before accessing the internet.
Updates on your terms
Update checks are optional and rule-based. You decide when and how the app looks for new versions.
No telemetry or ads
No usage tracking, no third-party analytics, and no advertising in the desktop application.
Optional install password
Protect the software installation with a password so only authorised users can launch or change settings.
AI features are opt-in
OpenAI integration uses your own API key and only runs when you initiate it. Filenames may be sent to OpenAI only for metadata or renaming tasks you request.
No silent data sharing
No data is shared between the app and pr0nView servers unless you explicitly allow it.
This website
This marketing site uses Google Analytics (gtag) when a measurement ID is configured, to understand aggregate traffic. The pr0nView desktop app does not include this analytics. Donate links open external payment pages in a new tab.
